I am thrilled to announce my candidacy for the Orange County Board of Supervisor’s 1st District. With Supervisor Andrew Do’s term ending next year, I am proud to have his support in continuing to represent the hard-working people of Orange County with a homegrown sense of integrity and conservative leadership.
I am a proud Republican who had helped built and protected the OC GOP from Liberal encroachment over the decades, including leading numerous successful voter registration campaigns in the county that registered tens of thousands of Vietnamese Americans since 1986 and supporting dozens of local Republican candidates running for office over the years, particularly within the 1st District.

As your future Republican Supervisor, I am committed to prioritizing issues that matter to our Party and our community, such as supporting our police and public safety, economic development and prosperity, infrastructure, keeping an appropriate balance on public health, and addressing the issue of homelessness that plagues our community. I will work tirelessly to cut wasteful spending and bring much-needed transparency and accountability to the county.
As a former Garden Grove City Councilman and California State Assemblyman, I have a proven conservative track record of advocating for taxpayers and hard-working OC families. I put conservative ideas into action by authoring and passing laws supporting women impacted by domestic violence, protecting the identity of victims of sex crimes, and fighting the good fight against illegal immigration and our state’s excessive taxation. My commitment to fighting for Orange County is unwavering, and I’m ready to bring that same dedication to the Orange County Board of Supervisors.
As a small business owner, public servant, and immigrant who had escaped from the oppression of communism, I understand the challenges facing Orange County families that the Liberal Left continues to ignore. I will be a strong voice for our shared values and fight tirelessly to ensure Orange County remains a great place to live, work, and raise a family.
I have lived, worked, or represented a large part of the 1st District for well over 40 years. As a homegrown candidate, I know the District better than anyone, and with your support, Supervisor Andrew Do and Orange County Republicans, we can continue to move our county forward.
